The installation of it wasn't complicated, if you follow the instructions. I was able to do 95% of it by myself, the only thing that was complicated that I needed my wife for was putting together the slide. I would have assuming the slide would have come as one piece, but it can with the 2 sides (green) and the flat yellow part that you had to bend and shape the slide and screw it into the green pieces, and a few wooden pieces.
The first thing I did when I got this swing set was lay out and organize all the pieces to make sure that I had all the parts. Out of all of the assembly, organizing it took me about 2 hours because of how many pieces there are.
After that, I begun assembling pieces and just followed the instructions provided. They are straight forward. You need some tools, like an electric drill (I used the Black & Decker LDX120C 20V MAX Lithium Ion Drill / Driver) and a hammer, all the drill bits needed (besides the one you have to drill into the slide) are all included. I recommend having some extra batteries for your electric drill. Overall, including the laying out of parts, it took about 8 hours to fully assembly and install the anchors into the ground.
When I built it, I was roughly 250 pounds and it held me with no issue. I wouldn't recommend standing on the ladder or sliding down the slide, but everything else was good.
As shown in the photos, I also have installed a Little Tikes High Back Toddler Swing for my newborn and she loves it.
Finally, The box it comes in is fairly heavy... about 200 pounds. Make sure you coordinate well with whatever company Amazon assigns to deliver your playground. It does not deliver via USPS like most Prime orders. When they come to deliver, I recommend having them place it near where you are going to install it. I had them place my on my lower back porch that is level with the back yard.
